      German Schachbundesliga


      5th and 6th round of the 2013/14 season

      At the 14th and 15th of December the 5th and 6th round of the Schachbundesliga take place. The playing venues are Hockenheim, Bremen, Griesheim and Berlin-Tegel. Shortly before the winter break the Schachbundesliga opens the doors for the last two rounds in 2013. And the end of the year couldn´t hardly include some better matches.

      At the playing venue Hockenheim the German champion OSG Baden-Baden faces his first real challenge of the season, when meeting with Mülheim one of the hardest competitors in the highest German chess league. This will be a clash with 16 world class players at the boards.

      But that´s not all chessfans worldwide can await. At the playing venue Bremen three of the currently best teams meet for their matches. It´s the host, Hamburg and Eppingen. At the other two venues most of teams are involved in the fight against relegation.

      5th round: Saturday, 14th of December 2013, 2pm CET

      SC Viernheim – SF Katernberg

      6th round: Sunday, 15th of December 2013, 10am CET
      SK Turm Emsdetten – SC Viernheim
      SF Katernberg – SV Griesheim

      Playing venue Berlin-Tegel

      5th round: Saturday, 14th of December 2013, 2pm CET
      SK König Tegel – SG Solingen
      SF Berlin – SG Trier
      6th round: Sunday, 15th of December 2013, 10am CET
      SG Solingen – SF Berlin
      SG Trier – SK König Tegel

      Live coverage:

      All games of the Schachbundesliga are covered live via our Liveportal. Its possible to follow any game just by one click and all games are analyzed by one of the strongest engines in the world – Houdini.

      Further information:

      – Time control: Fischer long, 100 minutes/40 moves + 50 minutes/20 moves + 15 minutes for the rest of the game + 30 seconds per move
      – Default time: max. 30 minutes
      – Delay of the games as precaution against electronic cheating
