2.Rxa6
1.Qc1 should be the starting move, threatening Ra6. 1… Qf2. 2. Qc6+ Kb8 3. Rc1 and black’s best try is 3… Ng4+ 4. hxg4 Qh4+ 5. Kg1 Qd8 when black seems to hold on. Then white has 6. e6. Can’t see much.
oh! Black can even repeat with 5… Qf2+ and take a draw.
How about 1. Qe7 Qc7 2. e6 If the N moves, Rxa7+ wins.
1…Kc7 2. Rc1+ doesn’t hold the knight.
If
1.Qe7 which seems a strong move then black has :
1…Ng4+!
and if
2.hxg4 Qh6+ and Qb6, leading to draw.
The move
1.e6! seems to give the advantage to white :
1…Qxe6
2.Qxa7 +- of course
[1…Nc5
2.Qxa7! Qxa7
3.Rxa7
and the e6-pawn promotes.]
