      2016 Canadian Women’s Championship (Zonal 2.2)
      Date: September 22-25, 2016

      Tournament Info 

      Place: RA Centre, 2451 Riverside Drive, Ottawa.
      Format: 7-round Round Robin.
      Time Control: 40moves/90minutes + Game/30 min + 30-seconds per move from move 1.

      Rounds:
      Players meeting: Thursday Sept 22 at 6 pm.
      Rd.1: Thursday 7 pm.
      Rounds 2-9: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 10 am & 5 pm.

      Prizes: guaranteed to total $2,000
      1st  $1,000 plus a trip to the FIDE World Event which the CFC funds according to its rules.
      2nd  $500
      3rd  $250
      4th or Under prizes totalling $250.

      The winner in the Women’s Zonal will also be awarded FIDE’s Woman International Master (WIM) title.
      Other titles will be awarded in accordance with FIDE title requirements.
