      Qualifiers for the World Cup 2011

      FIDE is announcing the list of qualifiers for the World Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk, 26 August (arrival) to 21 September 2011 (departure).

      All participants should sign and send their player’s contract to the FIDE Secretariat (fax no. +30 2109212859) no later than 20 June. Participants who need an entry visa to Russia shall contact the local Organising Committee at the email oxana-visa@mail.ruThis e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to receive the necessary travel information, hotel bookings and invitation letter.

        There is going to be a lawsuit for the Canadian World Cup spot as there was controversy over it. GM Sambuev and IM Hansen are both threatening to sue the federation.
