      Qualifiers for Women’s World Championship 2012

      Khanty-Mansiysk, Women's Chess, Women's World Championship

      FIDE is publishing the player’s contract for the Women’s World Chess Championship to be held in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia from 9 November (arrivals) to 3 December 2012 (departures). The qualified players are expected to fax or email scanned the original document of their signed contract to the FIDE Secretariat’s fax number +30 2109212859 or email office@fide.com This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. no later than midnight of Tuesday 28 August 2012. FIDE is also publishing the initial list of qualifiers as per regulations.

        Last year the Women Championship was a match between Yifan and Humpy. Yifan won the champion title. Doesn’t she have the right to keep the title until she is challenged by someone in match?
