Rd7+ if queen takes, nice fork, if king or rook move, rook is lost?

        Rd7 and black can resign:

        1. Rd7 Kh8

If Qd7, 2.Nf8 wins for white, and Kg8 is going to be mate after 2.Rg7 even if black doesn’t take the rook at g7. White can now just pin the queen with 2.Rd8 and simplify to won ending up a knight, but a more forcing line might continue:

        2. Ng7! Rg4 (anything better?)
        3. Ne8 Rg6
        4. Nf6! and to prevent Rh7#, black will have to sacrifice at f6 for the knight since Rg7 allows Rd8 followed by mate.

White’s position is good enough. He has an extra piece which is now attacked.Even if all pieces are exchanged he has a won K and P ending since black’s P majority on Q side is useless as it can not produce a passed P after white plays a4.also he has some tactical resources right now.
        1.Rd7+ Kh8
        Alternatives:
        (1….. Qxd7 2Qxg6+ kxg6 3.Nf8+ and wins)
        (1… Kg8 2.Rg7+ wins R)
        2.Ng7 Rxg4
        3.Nxe8
        and wins

        1. Rd7+ win, for if 1…Q:d7 2. Nf8+and White reaches a piece up ending.

Other tries for Black are no better – 1…Kh8 2. Rc8 reaches a similar piece up ending, and 1…Kg8 2. Rc7+ is disastrous.

Rd7ch leads to a won ending at least. Qxd7 loses the queen to Nf8ch. And Kg8 loses a rook, at least, to Rg7ch as taking the rook results in checkmate. So Kh8 is forced when Qxg6 will liquidate into an ending a piece and pawn up as Qxg6 is followed by Rd8 and the queen must go to g8 or if Kh7 Nf8ch (where we started) wins the queen.

White is winning anyway, but strongest continuation is definitely Rd7+!
