Once again we are teaming up with CPS & the City of Chicago to bring you three days of fun chess. Activities include: simuls by IM Stan Smiatankin & NM William Aramil, an ‘all-ages’ chess tournament, blitz, instructors for beginners & mega chess sets!

How come so many chess organizations make their events free and Goichberg and CCA are charging a few hundred bucks for entry fees? Where does this money go?
Thank You for posting this event. Last year almost 1000 people played chess. Everyone had such a good time, we were given more space for the 2nd year. This will be a lot of fun & we know many people who are looking forward to enjoying chess this weekend !
