She sang that she loved us and the way she sang it, made it sound like she meant it.

One of the greatest STARS of our time. But not a great voice, I’m afraid. The late Amy Winehouse, but also the fantastic Cassandra Wilson (retired from singer career) and the fabulous Joni Mitchell are singers, have great voices and natural ones.

But, alas, nobody speaks now of Cassandra Wilson, of the rare disease of Joni Mitchell and of the great talent that was Amy Winehouse.

        Why?

There were not formatted to the song recording industries (or more precisely factories) standards

        Never ever.

But yes, Houston’s death IS tragic, speculations about her death will be very wild, and after two month, she will be forgotten as she was in Europe two days ago. She was less media nowadays than Lady GaGa, Madonna, Britney Spears or other singers.

The truth? She was considered as a product and the expiration date for that product was reached a few years ago.

She was not only a product and she knew it. And that probably killed her.

The media hype about her has risen again. But far too late.

        Don’t believe the hype!

She had a beautiful voice and her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner will always remain as
the best performance at any venue. She always gave me chills when she sang because of her range and a voice that was as clear as pure spring water. The music world has lost an icon
        and she will be missed.
