      AJEDREZ-POLGAR

Polgar, 41, arrived from the United States. It is his fourth visit to Argentine territory during their stay will participate in a megasimultánea among 500 students. It will also give lectures for blind chess instructors and students of the school talent show.
On the occasion will be a National Geographic documentary on a study of the brain known about their memory, which will address its life against the board under the name of “Chess, a different education”

Susan (born in Budapest Zsuzsanna name) learned to play very young, with her two sisters Judit and Sofia (under the initiative of his father Lazslo). At age 12 he won the FIFA U-16 Championship, and in July 1983 (age 15) the highest ranking position in the FIDE women.

In 1996 he won the world title to China’s Xie Jung, ceding the crown in 1999 by not playing the revenge match against the same Asian challenging due to changes in the format of the World Championship, and in particular, for forcing her to defend the title only six months after having her first child.

He was twice Olympic champion with his country, Hungary (which accounted for 10 Olympic) Games in 1988 and 1990, always defending the 1st. board, without losing a game. Joined in those proceedings 10 medals, 5 gold medals, four silver and one bronze.
