      IM Sinisa Saric claims first place in Open Bosnjaci 2012

      The 17th Open Bošnjaci was held from 3rd to 9th January in Bošnjaci, Croatia. The tournament was played over nine rounds of Swiss system and rated with FIDE.

      116 players competed and among them were four Grandmasters. IM Sinisa Saric from Novi Sad defeated the chief opponent GM Sasa Martinovic with black pieces to claim a clear first place and 1000 EUR prize. Full standings bellow.

      The prize fund of 5400 EUR was distributed over 35 individual prizes.
