        1. Rd2 Qc5
        2. Be6+ and black loses the queen.

        1. Rd2 Qg3
        2. Nd4 Qf4
        3. Nxv6 and white has a strong attack.

Hi, i like playing chess. It helps me to build my logic thinking. But the one who usually play with me has gone. Is there any freeware that can be used to train our moves and help us to analyze? Thanks.

        1. Rxd6+! Kxd6
        2. Rd3+ Ke7
        3. Qa3+ Ke8
        4. Qxa7

The best I could do is:
        1. Rd2 Qg3 (1. Rd2 Qc5 2. Be6+)
        2. Rxd6+
        a
        2. .. cxd6
        3. Qxa7+
        b
        2. .. Kxd6
        3. Qa3+

Now the common white threat is: Be7

        Thanks,
        Mohit

What a beautiful combination. White’s first move is something she needs to do in preparation for her 5th move.

The idea is to penetrate to black’s back rank via a7. So, the queen on f2 needs to be driven away – and hence,

        1. Rd2!! Qg3
        2. Rxd6+ Kxd6 (not 2… cxd6 as 3. Qxa7+ leads to checkmate)
        3. Rd3+ Ke7
        4. Qa3+ Ke8
        5. Qxa7

The point. Threat is Qxc7 followed by Rd8 mate. The only way black can think of extricating herself out of this mess is:

        5… Nf4
        6. Bf7+ Kxf7 (6… Kf8 7. Rd7 is disastrous too)
        7. Qxc7+ Kg6
        8. Nxe5+ Kh5
        9. Rxg3

And black’s lost her queen, with checkmate staring at her.
