Black can leave its queen en prise because .. Rxg2 2.Qxh4 Rg1+ 3.Kh2 Nf1 is a pretty mate. Not needing to take the queen, white can play 2.Nxg2 Qxh3+ 3.Kg1 f3 and now try 4.Raa2, ( hoping for 4. .. fxg 5.Qf6+ and 6.Qf8+ perpetual ). But after 4. .. Nxg2 instead, it looks like white would have to give up its queen and soon the game

        1…. Rxg2!
        2. Nxg2
        ( 2. Qxh4 Rg1+
        3. Kh2 Nf1# )
        2…… Qxh3+
        3. Kg1 Rxg2+
        4. Qxg2 Nxg2
        5. Rxg2 Qxc3
and although material is roughly equal now, I would prefer black. White has to reconnect soon, and the only way to do it effectively is with Ra1-g1 which is not possible immediately because of the king on ‘g1’.
White also cannot prevent Qe3 with Re1 as the queen is looking at the ‘e1’ square too.
I just feel that f3 or Bh3 is going to win for black soon.

Hallerod – Monin posting of 7 April 2012. I post this much later because I was surprised that the immediate win was not posted.
Closest to the full line was
        Haridaran who posted correctly

        1…. Rxg2!
        2. Nxg2
        ( 2. Qxh4 Rg1+
        3. Kh2 Nf1# )
        2…… Qxh3+
        3. Kg1

However, with respect as he indicated 3. … Rxg2+ produces equal material and possibly ± only for white.
What was missed was the immediate win: 3. … f4-f3 with no defense and immediately wins. Threat e.g 4. … R*g2+.

        Prettiest,is 4.Q*e3, R*g2+ 5. Kf1 Re2 double check (prettier than Qh1+) and 6. Kg1 Qg2#
