      Saturday Open Forum

Corus, the first major tournament of the year, is taking place right now in Wijk ann Zee, Holland. After 6 rounds, Karjakin is leading Corus A, Short, Navara and Kasimdzhanov are leading Corus B, and Wesley So is leading Corus C. Round 7 is still on going right now.

The other big news of the week is the doping case against Ivanchuk has been dropped. This is obviously the right decision by FIDE and the commission. Now let’s hope that he can get back to focusing on his chess which is his life.

It’s Saturday Open Forum. The forum is yours. What would you like to discuss?

Will jackass state clearly under oath that he had nothing what-so-ever to do with the legal threat made to Steve Owens?

Thank you. As I said all along, I will not back down to these people. They have the pattern of chasing so many good people away from chess. It is time for someone to stand up against them and fight back for the sake of chess.

They can shoot their mouths off daily to defame and libel me for their political purpose. But they will answer for their conduct and behavior in court.

In the mean time, I will continue to promote chess and help our game grow.

        Best wishes,
        Susan Polgar

I do admire you for having the courage to stand up against corrupt chess politicians. Please don’t give up your fight. Many of us are counting on you to clean things up within the USCF. Thank you.

I agree with USCF Lifer. This federation needs to rid of people like Goichberg and Sloan if it wants to survive of thrive.
