Threatening the pawn fork with g4-g5, to drive away the other knight’s protection is one idea, and pretty much the only idea I have for this position:

        1. g4 g5 (Ng4 2.Rd7)

Here, a better capture might be Ne4 followed by Rc2 to attack f2, but white can play Nxe5 and Nd3 holding onto b2 for the moment. White would be up a piece for a pawn. Hard to say what is best for black here. Continuing:

        2. h4 gh4 (what else?)
        3. g5 Kh5 (is Kg6/g7 better?)
        4. gf6 Nf6

And, now white has a decision to make- protect rank 2 with the rook, protect the e-pawn with the rook, attack h4 with the rook, or take at e5. Very difficult to decide which is best here. My instinct is to play Re1 here since that one looks the simplest to me, but black would still have two basic plans to defend, and they look annoying to me.

        1. g4! Threatens g5+. Even if the K moves to g7 to avoid the fork, g5 still forces the N@f6 to move, leaving the N@d7 hanging.

        1. … g5 doesn’t help, due to 2. h5

1.g4 (threatening g5) g5 (Black cannot move the knight at f6 due to the loss of the other knight at d7)
        2.h4 gxh4
        3.g5+ Kh5
        4.gxf6 Nxf6

and White has the advantage of a knight to win with the pawns

        1. g4 g5 (Nxe4, 2. Rxd7)
        2. h4 gxh4 (Nxe4, 3. Rxd7)
        3. g5+ Kg7
        4. gxf6+
        2. … Nb6
        3. hxg5+ Kg7
        4. gxf6+
        2. … Kg7
        3. hxg4 and either gxf6+ or Nxd7 next move. greets, jan

        1. Rd6 looks good here. Immobilizes both black knights, threats Nxe5 and even threats Nc6!
        1. … Rc2 (Kg7 Nc6! looks worse for black)
        2. Nxe5 Nxe5
        3. Rxf6 Rxb2
        4. Rxf7 Rxa2
        5. Rxa7
        is up with a pawn.
b pawn under control, f+e pawns should win.
        Or:
        3. … Kg7
        4. Rf3 Rxb2
        5. Ra3
        also looks good for white.

        1. … K anywhere
        2. g5 Nf6 anywhere but d5

1.g4 maybe winnig, because of the hanging of the d7 Knight.

White can win a piece with
        1. g4! threatening g5+; after
        1. … g5
        2. h4!
renews the threat. One of the knights will fall.

        1, g4
threatening to win a piece with g5+
the n on f6 cannot move because the n on d7 will fall.

        1. … g5
        2. h4

        2. Rd6 is a safer move, and will likely win. but 2. h4 is more forceful.

        1-0

        Hasn’t this been posted before?
        1. g4! wins (threatening fork since the knight on f6 is protecting the knight on d7)
