SPICE Spring round 3 results – Yang leading tournament

Lubbock, SPICE, Spice Spring Invitational, Texas Tech, TTU

      Monday, March 15

      9:00 am – 1:30 pm Round 3

Antal – Finegold (Wild endgame with Antal having rook and 3 pawns vs. rook and bishop. Now it is 3 pawns vs. bishop. Should be a draw. They drew after 107 moves.)
Kuljasevic 1-0 Krush (With a small advantage from the opening, Kuljasevic was able to continue the pressure and eventually score a win in the endgame.)
Hansen 0-1 Yang (Yang with a few pawns down and a lost position but Hansen got mated in time pressure.)
Papp 1-0 Kraai (A well played game by Papp the entire way to secure his 1st win.)
Becerra 1/2 Ippolito (A well played game by Ippolito to hold from a wild opening.)

The description of the Hansen-Yang game is confusing.
