        What do the ‘W’ and ‘B’ mean after the ratings?

        It means they are due White or Black for that round – although it some cases, they did not get that color. There seems to be a few pairings in which that happened.

        Actually, where the system schedules a W-W or B-B game, you would think the lower rated player would get White.

        Not so with Board 1.

        When both players are due for the same color, the higher-ranked player gets the color she is due.
