i would play 1.Bf2 here because
        1.h7 Be5
        2.Kxe5 a2
        3.h8Q a1Q+
to access the long diagonal so now
i was looking in the line
        1.Bf2 Nf6+
        2.Kf5 Ng4
3.Kxg4 Be5 and now black has the long
        diagonal but white can play
        3.h7 Nxf2
        4.h8Q
        and also
        1.Bf2 Kc4
        2.Bd4 Nf6+
        3.Kf5 Kxd4
        4.Kxf6 a2
        5.Nb4 a1Q
        6.Nc2+

        I would try 1. Nb4

        1. … Kxb4 (no other move makes progress)
        2. h7 Be5
        3. Be1+ Kc4
        4. Kxe5 a2
        5. Bc3 Kxc3
        6. h8(Q)

        6. … Kc4
        7. Qg8 with a K & Q vs. K & N ending

        6. … Kb3
        7. Ke6 Nc7+ (otherwise the knight is lost after Kd7)
        8. Kd7 Nd5
        9. Qa1 Nb4
        10. c6 Nc2
        11. Qxa2+ Kxa2 and the pawn promotes

        6. … Kc2
        7. Kd5 Nc7+
        8. Kc4 Kb1
        9. Qh1+ Kb2
        10. Qh2+ Kb1
        11. Kd3 and White wins

        4i4mitko got it wrong.

        1.Bf2?! [1.h7? Be5 2.Nb4 Bh8 3.Be1 Nf6+ 4.Kf4 (4.Kf5 Nxh7 5.c6 Nf6 6.c7 Ne8) 4…Nxh7 5.c6 Nf6 6.c7 a2 7.Bc3 Nd5+ 8.Nxd5 Bxc3 9.c8Q a1Q 10.Qb7+ Kc2;
        1…Nf6+ [Black should not play 1…Kc4 2.Bd4+-]
        2.Kf5 Kc4 [Or 2…Nh7 3.Bd4 Kc4 4.Bg7 Kb5 5.c6 Kxa6 6.Kg6 Bf4 7.Kxh7 Kb6 8.Kg6 Bxh6 9.Bxh6 Kxc6=] 3.Kxf6 a2 4.Bd4 Kxd4 5.Nb4 Be5+=

        The solution is : 1.Nb4! Kxb4 2.h7 (2.Be1+ Kc4 3.Bc3 Kxc3 4.h7) 2…Be5 3.Kxe5 a2 4.Be1+ Kb3 5.Bc3! Kxc3 6.h8Q]

        jcheyne got it right.
