      Superstar showdown in Baku

      According to our friends at chessdom.com, Kamsky has arrived in Baku for the Grand Prix.

      The Chess Grand Prix will take place from April 20 to May 6 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

      Here are the list of the players (by April 2008 rating order) in the Baku Grand Prix:

        This is a very strong field. It’s actually good that the top few aren’t playing… it has given space for a very interesting tournament, an hopefuly a very fighting one.

        I don’t care if Kamsky wins or not… he’s probably taking this as part of his preparation anyways.. We’ll see the full version Kamsky when he plays Toppy.

        All I could find was

        but all it says is that it will be updated soon. How soon? It’s 4 days before the start of the tournament!
