        I tend to believe that these performance ratings are unreal and invented only for advertisement of strenghts ones do not possess. We never mention poor performances, nor are there any prizes for high performances. I think to believe these are unreal.

        first anon,

        why don’t you start playing chess and get some 3200 like rating ? I believe you definitely don’t have the skills (you should have somewhere around 90 IQ) but according to your reasoning you might well give it a try.
