Wesley So plays the best chess. He’s better than Carlsen.

Ding Lirin gave Wesley a big break. He could win the game but settled for a draw.

What a difference a group makes. Jobava is losing to nearly everyone in the Masters group with his “reckless” lines, and dropping in ratings everyday. If he had played in the Challengers group instead, I think he would be beating nearly everyone, and increasing his rating in the process. Ratings are really just who you choose to play.

If Ding Lirin knew how to win,he would’ve. Last time he got his ass handed to him by Wesley, that memory was too painful !

The Ding-So game is a well-analyzed draw. Even Kasparov would have conceded that. So would have easily drawn the game even if Ding called the entire Red Army for help.

Wesley almost always loses against Giri. I hope he hurdles him this time so that he can vie for the title.

Wesley almost always lose against Girl, I mean Giri? You must be a Giri fan, last time I check (which is today lol), in their many match Wesley lost only once & all games were drawn. It would be more appropriate to say that Giri almost always lose against Hou, Yifan. In laymans term Giri regularly lose against a girl, never beaten Yifan not even once. Guess thats why he is called GM Girl not Giri lol But Wesley never lose against Hou, Yifan before. It goes like Giri beat So once but get regularly lose against Yifan who has never beaten So before. In hindsight, it means So is better than Giri and it was just pure luck that So was beaten by Giri… lucky bitch lol

This is probably only So’s 2nd super tournament. The first was last year’s Tata Steel. Not bad at all. A lot less mistakes than last year, but still more than enough to prevent him from winning this one.

I am a fan of Wesley and I do hope that he beats Giri this time. To the person who said that Wesley only lost once against Giri, go check the FIDE records and you will see that So lost two games and drew three against Giri. And Wesley was in inferior position in two of those three draws. Who is a bitch now?

Go check again! A bitch who does know how to look for record! Your not a wesley so fan, your Giri’s bitch masquerading as Wesley’s fan. Oh check how many times Yifan beat Giri, a regular punching bag of a girl lol

No worries. Before the 1972. World Chess Championship match between Fischer and Spassky in Reykjavik, Fischer’s personal record with Spassky was 0 – 3. When the 1972 World Chess Championship started, Fischer lost the 1st game in what many thought was a drawn game. Then Fischer defaulted the 2nd game and fell 0 – 2 behind. And yet Fischer won the match 12.5 to 8.5!
