      Ten players share the lead at the European Chess Championship

      Ten players share the lead at the European Chess Championship 2012, all of them with equal 5,0/6. These are GM Arkadij Naiditsch, GM Laurent Fressinet, GM Yuriy Kuzubov, GM Gawain Jones, GM Ernesto Inarkiev, GM Denis Khismatullin, GM Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, GM Maxim Matlakov, GM Anton Korobov, and GM Sergei Azarov.

      They are closely followed by a pack of 24 players with 4,5/6, among which are the rating favorite GM Fabiano Caruana, the German Champion GM Daniel Fridman, nd the 2700 club members GM Bacrot, GM Movsesian, GM Jakovenko, GM Sutovsky, GM Malakhov, GM Riazantsev, GM Jobava, etc.
