      The 10 year old champion

      Jeffrey Xiong, Lubbock, SPICE, SPICE Cup, Texas Tech, TTU


      10 year old Jeffrey Xiong won the 2011 SPICE Cup FIDE Amateur Open with the score of 5.5 / 6. He is the top 10 year old in the nation. His only draw came in the hand of 9 year old Ruifeng Li, the top 9 year old in the country. This dynamic duo will represent the U.S. in the upcoming World Youth.
