The event started today with a lecture to a big crowd, the SPWO Puzzle Solving, followed by a Simul. The main event will begin tomorrow. Over 260 players have already pre-registered for just the main event alone.

Susan, I am not in Las Vegas but my wife is there with my son, who is playing. I must complain that the results are not being posted online in a timely manner, e.g. the 3rd round ended about 4 hours ago and no results have been posted for the BU8, BU14, BU19, or GU11 sections. One of the things that keeps people interested in following the event is the updating of round-by-round results, and it seems to me there is no good excuse for this failure.
