        Elo inflation is talked about as a fact, but then again the chess level of the elite is also on the raise. A kind of evolution (if such a Darwin’ian word is proper in a US site). A battle of 2 phenoms indeed.

        2509 Fide is a very high rating for a WFM(it use to be from 2050 to 2150).
        I won my two games(2-0) this night against an egyptian WIM in ICC…but i cannot imagine myself winning against Hou Yifan,and her title is less important 🙂
        Well,they are the future!

        2509?? How many GM norms has Hou Yifan made? Is there a chance she’ll break the record for youngest GM? That would be extra rare, to have youngest GM be female.
