NEW YORK, May 4, 2009 – LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers is the winner of the Maurice Podoloff Trophy as the 2008-09 NBA Most Valuable Player presented by Kia Motors, the NBA announced today.

        He’s better than Kobe.

Lebron totally deserves it. With apologies to his teammates, he’s really the only star in the Cleveland team. And he’s led the Cavs to the best record in the NBA, and very possibly the championship. Kobe should be a close second though. Cavs vs Lakers finals will be a thrill.

King James has rewritten the scriptures, but the WNBA MVP Candace Parker is better.
