Congrats to Judit, the one and true Chess Queen.

Judit proves that she’s a chess queen by her play on the board and not some cheap marketing ploy and condescending gimmick like Kosteniuk who’s barely over 2500.

        Go Judit!

I’m pleased that Judit is doing so well here. I’d like to see her play the Sicilian against 1e4! I hate the Ruy Lopez, but as long as she wins it’s fine by me.

Why do you guys bother to compare Judit vs Kosteniuk. They’re not in the same class and they’ll never be. Judit’s peak rating is 200 points higher than Kosteniuk. We all know this so leave it be. Kosteniuk can brag about herself as much as she wants. I personally think it’s cheap and demeaning to her own self inflated image but that’s her right.

I think Kosteniuk’s image is overinflated by her husband’s efforts and the chess crowd in Moscow.

She probably plays a small part in her own self promotion because she is too busy with children and a busy chess schedule.

Again, the disparity against women in chess is evident. We can have many kings, but only one queen.
