Florida is the best team. How they lost to Mississippi is mindboggling.

Err – I thought this was the ‘Chess Daily News’, so why is it talking about college football?!

We know Susan can recruit Chess Players to Tech, but is she helping coach Mike Leach get fottball players too?

This is the first year she’s at Tech and they’re ranked #2 in the country? Coincidence? I think not 🙂

        Susan:

Have you personally sat down to meet with Mike Leach, the Tech football coach? Does he play chess?

Yes, Mike Leach does play chess. Many of his players do play chess as well. In fact, we recently had a ceremony to place 2 giant chess sets at the Lubbock International Airport and his players were in the news playing chess with those sets while waiting for their flight.

No, I have not met him yet. He was supposed to make the first move in one of the games during the SPICE Cup. Unfortunately, our crazy schedules make the meeting very difficult.

        Best wishes,
        Susan Polgar
