      The Speech

      Commencement, Texas Tech

This is the first time that I gave a speech to somewhere around 25,000 people! Prior to this, the largest I have ever done was about 5,000. It was quite an experience!

I am so proud of you Susan.

You are being all you can be.

        You are wonderful.

        Keep up the good work.

        Can I now call you

Doctor Susan Polgar. Sounds good to me.

You are so amazing. I hope that you and the entire team get elected to USCF EB. Chess in America needs your leadership. I am so happy for you. You are so good for chess in America.

I am happy for all chess players too. Finally chess will become professional under your leadership. That will be wonderful for me and all my chess playing friends.
