Armageddon blitz is, to my thinking, a completely unsatisfactory way to decide a match. I wish the chess world would abandon it.

Frankly, I am dissapointed as an Ivanchuck fan. But not too much to be a sour loser. So I send The Great Norweigian my congratulations.

Leon was a great experience to watch. Especially the live streaming of Carlsen – Yue.
I don’t remember when was the last time I was glued to the screen the way the Leon Chess event glued me. This is success and a landmark for chess as a tv or internet sport to watch.

Impressive! The spaniards did a great job. When is there going to be a chess olympiad in Spain? The Germans did a great job in the Dresden olympiad with TV. Now in Leon it seems that the Spaniards have what it takes to organize a successful event from the communication aspect. Next big task for them is going to be organizing an olympiad.

One special request if possible can you post the Armaggedon game? I cannot go to sleep before seeing it.
        Thanks in advance,
        A Weiler

        Thanks Anon 5:00.
I just replayed this Armaggedon game – first thing I did when I woke up.

For an Armaggedon, this is such a good game. Good fight! Carlsen is so goooooood! Vasil is also great!
        Carlsen excelled.
        Bravo to both!!
