what? no screen separating the players from the audience? That is a big mistake. the real problem is not really cheating with electronic equipment. It is cheating through eye contact. For example, Danailov can have a set of signals and can potentially signal to Topalov during the game. This is what Topailov was accused of in San Luis and in Corus.

I think Kamsky is making a big mistake by not insisting on a screen. E#ven Anand and Kramnik had it in Bonn – when neither had been accused of cheating by making eye contact.

The logo looks like two crows fighting over a piece of fried chicken.

Ok, I’m explaining the eagles on the logo – one of the most popular places in Sofia is the “Eagle’s bridge”, and there are 4 esgles, 2 of them are at the logo.

Well, the audience will be kept at a distance of 10 meters, so it will be very hard to make eye contact.

The food/beverages table will also be self-serve, so Topalov and Kamsky will not have to interact with other people. However, I didn’t mention if blueberry yogurt is on the forbidden items list; so it could still be possible to pass a message that way… 😉

“Danailov can have a set of signals and can potentially signal to Topalov during the game.”

Wrong again! Danailov uses a remote controlled bishop that vibrates. Topa knows how to move when his bishop vibrates around in his nether regions. You read it here first true believers!
