        black can hold the game

        1….Nxe5
        2.h8=Q+ Kf7
        3.Qc8 Bf6

and its a perfect castle or prison, black cant lose

We need more checkmate in 1 puzzles. This is too hard.

I hate puzzles that are upside-down.

If 1…N-R1 then 2. N-N6+ NxN 3. PxN and White Queens the pawn. I guess Black loses…

        It’s draw.
        1 … g6
        2.Nxg6 Kg7
        3.Nxe7 Kxa7 =
        or
        2.fxg6 Nh8
        3.Kh6 Bg5+ and Kg7 =

g6 seems to secure a draw for black
        2 .. Nxg6+
        3 Kg7 and now white can’t queen

        2 .. fxg
        3 Nh8 Kh6
        4 Bf6 seems to hold

        2 .. Kxg6
        3 Nh8+ Kh6
        4 Bf6

Please do not print the board upside down: it is contrary to usual chess publishing practice and misleading.

Yes, 1…g6 is the only drawing move for Black.

        1. … g6
        2.Nxg6 Kg7 or even Ke8
