Vietnam PM lauds Liem for world blitz chess title

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Wednesday sent a letter of congratulations to Grandmaster Le Quang Liem for winning the 2013 World Blitz Chess championship in Russia.
“I am cordially sending you and your family the warmest congratulations on your great achievement winning the gold medal in the Blitz chess competition at the 2013 World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships held in Russia.
“This achievement is a great honor for you and your family, contributing to bringing fame to the intellectual capacity and spirit of the Vietnamese young generation, honoring Vietnamese sports on the international stage, setting a good example for young people to follow,” the PM wrote
He also praised the coaches for training the 30th-ranked Liem and said he hoped they would continue the good work to bring more achievements and honor to the country.
