von Weizsäcker ticket for ECU, Nigel Short as Deputy President

Chess election, ECU, Robert von Weizsäcker

Robert K. von Weizsäcker ticket for ECU
detailed information on the ticket of the German candidate

The team of the German candidate for ECU President Robert K. von Weizsäcker has officially announced in a letter to Chessdom.com the ticket for the upcoming ECU elections in Khanty Mansiysk. Here is the open statement and curriculums vitae of the participants in the ticket.

      Dear Presidents, dear Delegates,

The German Chess Federation is pleased to announce that its President Robert K. von Weizsäcker will run for ECU President. He has been asked by a lot of federations and players to form a ticket representing all parts of Europe.

He has succeeded in creating the following strong team:

President: Prof. Dr. Robert von Weizsäcker (CC-GM), Germany
Deputy President: Nigel Short (GM), England
Vice President: Ivan Sokolov (GM), Bosnia and Herzegovina
Secretary General: Johann Hjartarson (GM), Iceland
      Treasurer: Dr. Yuri Kaplun, Ukraine

As according to the ECU Statutes the Board should comprise representatives of different federations, the current ECU Secretary General Horst Metzing cannot be included anymore into the Board. In the interest of the future successful work for European chess he should be appointed as Executive Director and should continue to run the ECU Office in Berlin.

We would like to ask all European Chess Federations to support this team and to vote for this new European leadership.

      Best regards,

      Dr. Hans-Jürgen Weyer Deputy President

Any team with Short should lose automatically.

It’s very very funny ! Karpov went with Danailov to see the Bulgarian President to seek their support and now he presents his own puppet. OF course him and Kasparov are dishonest persons. For instance back in 1984/1985 Karpov had more than 10 seconds to Kasparov 4 and in 1990 he asked for removing adjournments because he no longer dominated in that field !
The same way he signed the Prague comedy of lies! He considers himself as the 12th world champion but also recognizes Kramnik and Anand as 14th. ANd then the 12th, the 13th and the 14th all sign together !!!
But how does he consider Kramnik, the one who stole a championship match from Shirov? Could you just imagine Nadal coming for Federer in the Flushing Meadows final after losing 2-6 2-6 2-6 to Del Potro in the semifinals ??? Really, could you ??
How much money can he bring to chess ?? Honesty, No corruption and Popular Sport ! What an answer!
Let me remind him that without money there’s no professional sport, and that without professional sport or art or whatever you want, there’s no amateur sport, because the sport has problem to be known, especially with the young people.
Or maybe many of you don’t like the “embodiment of Evil”, Danailov who has brought some 10 millions to chess ??
