        Shirov has a surprised look on his face. He would not have won if either Magnus or Topalov were absent. He won by default. The two Titans cancelled each other out leaving Shirov with the smoldering chessboard remains.

        Topa and Magnus would make more money if they avoided playing at the same tournaments each one attends.
