        I predict neither one will be interested in winning and mutually agree to give up and go home.

        Both will lose as the match against Anand will never take place due to the lack of sponsorship.

        At this point, I don’t care. The WC match would be of decreasing interest in this order:

        Anand v. Carlsen (Magnus wins)
        Anand v. Nakamura (Anand wins)
        Anand v. Levonian (Previously Levonian to win or stay close..not so sure now)

        Grischuk & Gelfand….snore

        @Anonymous at 11:36 AM:

        –This is exactly why Carlsen withdrew…he knew that some idiots like you would continue to think that Magnus can beat Anand in a match. Why jeopardize such sweet feelings huh?

        Ask him to PROVE IT will ya?

        The records so far, BTW,

        Classical games: Viswanathan Anand beat Magnus Carlsen 6 to 1, with 12 draws.
        Including rapid/exhibition games: Viswanathan Anand beat Magnus Carlsen 14 to 9, with 25 draws.
