        Carlsen, without a doubt.

Ivanchuk has done great too, but he’s had one amazing tournament and Carlsen has had a consistently good performance so far this year.

Actually, I’m the best so far as I haven’t lost yet this year.

I forgot to mention that I played the same person every time. Neither of us is very good, but he is worse than I am.

Vassily Ivanchuk is the greatest this year- after a decade since winning his third Linares, he finally wins another supertournament- and not just wins it- gets one of the best tournament performances of all time- similar to Karpov’s 1994 Linares win- except that the top two Anand and Kramnik weren’t in it.

In any case no-one has done anything nearly as spectacular in a supertournament this year. This 80% win is worth 3 or 4 65% tournament wins in my opinion.

        Ivanchuk, of course, no question.

It is between Carlsen and Ivanchuk. Who can keep up their form?

Fischer (now in hiding with Elvis) of course.
