      MAKITA WOMEN CHESS MATCH: INDONESIA VS FRANCE

      DATES : 16-22 December 2012
      PLACES : Jakarta and Bekasi, Indonesia
      The Event is organized by Utut Adianto Chess School (SCUA) and Indonesia Chess Federation.
       
      FORMAT

      Blitz 1 round match
      Rapid Scheveningen System, 4 round
      Standard Scheveningen System, 4 round


      TIME CONTROL
       

      Blitz 3 minutes + 2 seconds
      Rapid 25 minutes + 10 seconds
      Standard 90 minutes + 30 seconds


      FIDE Rules for Blitz Chess, FIDE Rules for Rapid Chess, and FIDE Rules for Standard Chess are applied.


      Zero tolerance rule will not be applied.


      The game is lost by the player who arrives at the chessboard after her flag has fallen.

      Participation are 4 (four) players from Indonesia and 4 (four) players from France whom invited by organizer.

      PRIZES

      The total prize fund of the event of 12.000 (twelve thousand) USD is distributed as follows:
       

      Team
       

      Blitz 1st : USD 600
      2nd : USD 400
       

      Rapid 1st : USD 1.200
      2nd : USD 800
       

      Standard 1st : USD 2.400
      2nd : USD 1.600
       

      Individual
       

      There will be individual prize fund based on highest accumulated score made by players.
       

      1st : USD 1.500
      2nd : USD 1.200
      3rd : USD 800
      4th : USD 500
      5th – 8th :@ USD 250
       

      In case of a tie, all prizes will be split equally.

      ACCOMMODATION & PLAYING VENUE

      All the players will be provided with the full board accommodation in the Pullman Hotel and the Horizon Hotel.


      The Playing Venue for Blitz Chess is in the Grand Ballroom Pullman Hotel. The Playing Venue for Rapid and Standard Chess is Grand Ballroom Utut Adianto Chess School (SCUA).
