      World Cup playoff updated results

      After 2 rapid game playoff, three matches are still tied. Dominguez, Bruzon, and Heine Nielsen scored clutch wins in the 2nd playoff game to even up the scores.

      Ivanchuk won both games against Bu while Grischuk scored 1.5 – 0.5 against Potkin to advance to the quarterfinal.

      In the third game of the playoff, Judit pulled off a miracle win in a bad position to lead by one. Gashimov and Bruzon also won.

      Dominguez won the fourth playoff game to even up the match against Judit. Ponomariov did the same against Bruzon. Gashimov won both games to advance.

      Judit and Leinier recorded the first draw of the match in the 7th game! The score now is 3.5 – 3.5. Bruzon and Ponomariov also drew. Both pairs will now play the 8th game shortly.
