        Garry Kasparov retired on 10 March 2005 maintaining the number one Chess ranking for 20 years. Now, on 4 December, 2009 he is back on top of the rating list again. what must be going through the minds of Anand, Topalov and Kramnik?

        What a silly comment. Carlsen is number one… perhaps a little earlier than expected but he is the one on the front line.
