        How come Linares wasn’t calculated?

When Kasparov retired, he was ranked 2812. Now he works with Magnus Carlsen, Carlsen is ranked just about the same at 2813.

What does that mean? It means that working with Kasparov won’t raise your rating beyond what Kasparov was rated when he retired.

        This is logic, not superstition!
