      WWC Round 2 Matchups

      Nalchik, Russia, Women's World Championship

Konsintseva – Zatonskih. Due to the withdrawal of 11 players, Koneru and Kosteniuk will get a bye in round 2 and they will go directly to round 3.

I’m looking forward to some armageddon games in this round too.

And the organizers should swap the queen and king when seting up the board. I’m sure at least one of the players wont notice it and will start playing (specially in tie-breaks). Then we will see how they know the rules that are concearning this 🙂

Again the rules are very easy and straightforward, but I’m sure at least 90% don’t know them.
