        Strange tournament: Dominguez hanging in there to survive (all games drawn so far, many of them luckily), Chucky reprising his (in)famous role as blunder king (how many one move howlers so far? two or three at least) and Wang not too combative it is obvious that only Shirov, Carlsen and Topa will be serious contenders for the title…

        The outcome of this tourney seems to be decided by Chucky’s bad play. Quite strange.

        Ivanchuk is clearly out of the top league now. Time to give his major-tournament slots to the young wizards – Karjakin, Caruana, So.
