      Chess tactic, Hort, Puzzle Solving

      Note by ChessToday.net:

Czech Grandmaster Vlastimil Hort celebrates his 65th birthday today. He was one of the world’s leading players in the 1960s and 1970s. In 1970 Hort played on board 4 in the famous match USSR vs. Rest of the World, scoring ‘+1’ against Polugaevsky.

While Hort still plays in tournaments occasionally, nowadays he is more known as a chess commentator.

White to move. How should White proceed?

        Nc6 to enable Nd5 looks interesting, e.g.,
        Nc6 Nxd3+
        Kd2 Qe8
Nd5 to remove the defender of the kingside

Nf5 would be obvious to a 1400 player. I know, because I am one. (Takes, then g6.)
