Wesley So played the best chess so far. He clearly got excellent training from Lotis Key.

I have always thought that Ivanchuk is capable of beating any strong GM today, even the world champion Carlsen. He just needs to focus, maintain his composure and loosen a little. Once he achieves this, he will be a real threat to anyone. Go Chucky!

Lotis Key is not a chess opicianado. She is over 60 year old actress from the Philippines.

Lucky Chucky has not played any of the top guns. He will be in the middle of the standings by Round 8.

So and Giri have already played the heavyweights, except each other. One or both of them will surge to the lead in the next 4 rounds.

Nice caricature of Chucky. Looks like a washed-up boxer.

Ivanchuck will SELF-DESTRUCT starting Round 7… his lucky he got easy opponents on the first 4 rounds, except for MVL, the rest are a joke. He would most likely draw Ding Liren in the 5th round and thereafter, he will falter as he always does lately. He still did not face Carlsen, Caruana, Aronian, Giri & So… these guys will be the heck out of the old man… You can include Wojtaszek in the mix. 6 guys that can very well kick Chucky’s ass. His game against Ding Liren, Saric & Yfan will perhaps gave him a win but still not sure. Enjoy as Chucky will start to falter after Round 5 for sure. Retire chucky boy lol

Nakamura is now second to wesley so in us federation, and will always be. It’s time for him (nakamura) to work hard to gain his lost glory
