LIVE commentary of Kamsky – Topalov game 4

Bulgaria, Chess match, Gata Kamsky, Sofia, Topalov

I will be doing LIVE commentary of the Kamsky – Topalov game 4 tomorrow. The game will begin at 3 pm Sofia (Bulgaria) time (8 am NY time and 7 am Texas time).

Now that Gata had a comfortable game 3 with the Black pieces, can he tie the match up with White in game 4?

What is your game 4 prediction?

Gata will perhaps wait and consolidate his position in the match. It may be too risky to start fighting back today.

        okay

Kamsky has two whites in a row now. Meaning that Topalov has two oppurtunities to win 🙂
He will succed at least once.

Why not fight back at once? Is there a difference in risk of fighting at any moment compared to another. Please explain.

        ok

White is too scarse to throw away without having a go at it.

My answer: The pressure on Topalov gets higher if Gata wins the last or the last but one game. Losing now the fourth would help T. go get out of his shock.
And: A second loss now would be nearly the end after 4 games.

Maybe everything goes the other way – I would be happy…

        okay

It went the other way: he went for it. Maybe now consolidate …

        ok
