Sochi set for Russian Team Chess Championships

The 2015 Russian Team Chess Championships for men, women, juniors and veterans are set to take place from 1-10th May at the legendary Grand Hotel “Zhemchuzhina” in Sochi.
“Zhemchuzhina” was the host of many international chess tournaments throughout the 20th century.
In 2015 the format of the team championships will be significantly changed. In the men’s event the Premier League will be formed from the clubs that finished on 1-8th place in 2014. The other clubs will join the Higher League.
The Championships will be held in all three formats: classical, rapid and blitz.
